Frequently Asked Questions About Video Production
A captivating video that strikes a chord with your audience can build brand equity. However, if you’re not familiar with the process, you may have tons of questions about video production but may find it tricky to get all the answers that you’re seeking.
So, to ensure you have all your doubts cleared, Early Rising Production has answered some of the most frequently asked questions about video production.
1. I want to make a video but have no idea where to start?
A video starts with what you want to tell your audience, whom you wish to deliver the message to, and how you want to get it across. A basic video will need a camera, a person to conduct the interview, and some post-production editing. We can help you with all these things.
2. How much do videos cost?
While the cost varies greatly, we always strive to provide the best quality video which aligns with the client’s budget. At a minimum, there will be a sound technician, and a camera operator on set. Additionally, you will most likely need some post-production editing. Besides, once we have some basic idea of what type of video you’d like to produce and the complexity, we can give you an honest estimate of the costs.
3. I’ve already filmed my video, can you still help?
Yes, we can! We can take your digital assets and assemble them in an editing program. It includes adding graphics, text, and music, to deliver a video that provides a clear focus, understandable message, and moving imagery.
4. How long does a video take to complete?
It all depends on the synergy between the client and the production team. The client must consider who should get interviewed and what sort of questions need to get asked.
We usually film everything needed for one video in a single day and can begin editing straightaway. Consequently, a review edit can be ready within a week, and with quick feedback from the client, changes can be made at lightning speed. If all parts run smoothly, most videos are completed within the expected time frame.
5. Do all projects with you involve both filming and editing?
No. While we can take care of everything from beginning to end, if clients only need us for the filming of events we will be happy to shoot. After we wrap up for the day, we will upload the raw footage for the client to download.
6. Are you able to film for foreign countries?
Yes. The Canon C300 Mark II films in both NTSC (30/24 fps) and PAL (25fps) for European Broadcasting.
7. Are you capable of a two-camera shoot?
Yes. While there is an additional fee for another camera, we can film two camera interviews simultaneously, which requires just a bit more time for setup. For anything more complicated, an extra camera operator will get brought on board to help.
